Everyone should take a gander at & subscribe to Taproot Magazine! It is a beautiful, brand new publication created by Jason Miller and Amanda Blake Soule of Soulemama, dedicated to the stories of people striving to live closer to the earth and each other. I am a contributing illustrator!

I am a huge soulemama fan! (but I haven't been to her blog in a while to hear about this). I own her books. How fantastic that you worked with her! Definitely something for me!
I've received the first issue of Taproot and I am absolutely in love with the illustration you contributed (I do hope you'll start selling prints of your work someday soon). I'm having such fun right at the moment snooping around on your blog - Miss Ida? Love her! The elephant & mouse mail? That should be in a folk art museum. Your work is inspiring and bright and wise and just generally wonderful.
